May 23, 2023
We have not yet made the decision to call a strike, but unless we see some major shifts at the bargaining table this week, a work stoppage in early June is likely.
Community Support
Good news! If we do have to go on strike to win fair contracts with UW, our student employee and other colleagues all across campus are currently pledging to respect the picket lines!
Please share this pledge with your colleagues!
What YOU can do
The biggest action you can do this week is to attend our Mass Action Meeting this Thursday the 25th at noon. RSVP here! We will be making noise, and each unit will be deciding our next steps, including the option of striking.
Strike FAQ
As we shared yesterday, should we need to strike, we’ve prepared a list of Frequently Asked Questions. Please review and reach out if you have a question that you don’t see answered here.
We’ll see you this Thursday at Noon for our Massive May Action. Get excited to make some noise!
