Our first full day of bargaining is complete! If you’re curious who is on our bargaining team, you can see the team here; UW Admin brought 16 personnel to the bargaining table yesterday.
We sent 11 proposals to UW Admin on 9/1 and hoped to begin bargaining with a number of counter proposals from UW. However, UW Admin did not review our proposals prior to this session, so we presented each of the 11 proposals to their team yesterday. We reached Tentative Agreements on three articles: Preamble, Subordination of Agreement and Savings Clause, and Joint Union Management Committee.
