Good news – we are approaching a date by which our union can be certified! Washington’s Public Employment Relations Commission (PERC) has now set the dates for our union’s representation vote. If the majority of votes are YES, our union will be promptly certified and we can begin bargaining!

The official election notice can be found here. All eligible voters will receive a letter at their home mailing address with voting instructions and a personal identification number (PIN). Voting instructions will also be sent to your UW email address on May 24, 2022, at 9:00a.m. To vote online, go to: perc.isivote.com; to vote by phone, call 1-866-210-7534. A strong turnout of Yes votes will show UW that we’re serious about bargaining for better working conditions. Please note that individuals whose membership in our bargaining unit is still challenged by UW are eligible to vote!
In the meantime, please fill out a commitment to Vote Yes and help build momentum for a swift certification so we can begin bargaining. Thank you for your support!
